Two years ago our communities joined together under the banner of the Northeast Ann Arbor Community Coalition (NEA2CC) to address the proposed Transportation Center at Hubbard and Green. We’ve had several emails asking which UM Regents voted against the bus yard. The Regents didn’t have a formal vote because the University cancelled the project. However the following Regents, Larry Deitch and Denise Ilitch, are up for re-election. Tonight at 6:30pm, University Staff informed us at our meeting that the Bus Yard project on Green and Hubbard has been cancelled. The official notice was posted on the University Record website tonight. Neighbors, we did it.
